What You'll Do:
Set up and run turret and press brake machinery in the metal fabrication shop (without assistance).
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance; follow manufacturer’s instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job.
Select and install the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation.
Your Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
2-3 years of prior experience operating various machinery and equipment to fabricate metal parts.
Ability to read and interpret two-dimensional blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Proficient in operating CNC machines, hand tools, and measuring devices such as scales, calipers, and protractors.
Strong math skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience working in construction or manufacturing industry, preferred.
Must be able to pass pre-employment checks including a Drug Screen and Criminal Background.
