We are a small locally owned custom frame shop at River Ridge Hardware located in the west part of the Spokane/Shadle area. We are known in our neighborhood as the friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable hardware store. Our customers are our number one priority, as we strive to provide the best customer service in the city.
We are looking for a quality employee who loves to work with customers. This individual will be a self-starter, quick learner and someone who can adjust to different needs. If you are that person, you must be aware of details, be skilled at simple math and measurements. You must be comfortable with a cash register and computer work. Custom frame experience and/or a art or design background is desired but not necessary. We require all employees to pitch in where needs arise and be flexible.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Applicants preferably either have experience in the picture framing industry or a background in studio arts and /or interior decoration. We are willing to train and have found that fine artists who have worked with a variety of media are a great fit for the job. Candidates must have an eye for detail and be highly customer focused.
Employee will assist customers in the design of custom framing projects, making sure that they are structurally sound, meet archival quality standards, and are aesthetically pleasing and consistent with the individual tastes of the customer.

Minimum Job requirements:
-Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills
-Comfortable operating power tools, framing equipment and glass cutter
-Customer Service Oriented- Customer service is a top priority
-Comfortable occasionally posting on social media and updating website
-You are a team player, open to learning our techniques and perform tasks as trained with consistency and accuracy.

-Art or Design background
-Retail experience
-Experience selling products and/or services to customers
