Assists Senior Leadership with hospital nursing activities within context of hospital policies and procedures.Assists in ensuring continuous and timely nursing services to patients, while ensuring staff uphold nursing standards, practices, policies and procedures, in accordance with all laws, and regulatory and accreditation requirements.Assists with nursing service Performance Improvement activities and actively participates in hospital leadership functions.Collaborates with hospital leaders to design and provide patient care and services including availability of sufficient, qualified nursing staff.Assists in developing and managing budget for nursing services.

Reports to: Chief Nursing OfficerMinimum EducationGraduate of a BSN Program Required

Bachelor’s degree Required

Master's degree PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licenses: Registered NurseMinimum Work ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of Nursing Experience required.
