This position is contingent upon award of contract. This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide ongoing, holistic care to residents in long-term care facilities, focusing on their medical, emotional, and social needs. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for residents over extended periods.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family members. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Monitor residents’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff. Provide support and education to residents and their families about managing conditions and maintaining overall health. Facilitate communication among interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal resident outcomes. Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity for each resident. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to facility policies and procedures to enhance care delivery in the long-term care setting.
