Women's and Gender Studies () at West Virginia University invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters of 2024.Qualifications

These positions require a master's or doctoral degree in Women's and Gender Studies, LBGTQ+ Studies, or a master's or doctoral degree in a related discipline with an emphasis on gender and/or LGBTQ+ Studies (as indicated by a Certificate in WGST, for example) and evidence of ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level. Because WGST courses are taught from multi- and inter-disciplinary frameworks, scholars from multiple academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load - which may vary depending on departmental need.
