Oversee staff and coordinate procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

For West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland locations:

1.Completion of an Accredited Radiography School.

2.Registered by the ARRT in Radiography.

3.Radiologist Technologist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners, or applicable state where services will be performed.

4.Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

EXPERIENCE:

1.Two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

For Pennsylvania locations:

1.Completion of an Accredited Radiography School.

2.Registered by the ARRT in Radiography.

3.Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

1.Two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:EXPERIENCE:

1. Four (4) years' experience as Staff Radiographer.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Oversees daily work flow and problem solving in designated specialized modality.

Maintains the expertise in their designated modality and provides orientation to new staff members.

Supports Radiology staff by promoting cooperative problem solving and team building by displaying a professional attitude and demeanor.

Promotes and contributes positively to intradepartmental and interdepartmental relationships with no more than two valid complaints in a six-month period, monitored by supervision.

In conjunction with Supervisor and Manager, functions as a liaison with other departments to coordinate services.

Assists with quality assurance functions.

Monitors inventory of medical supplies to ensure no interruption of patient care.

Provides direct feedback to Supervisor/Manager regarding technologist performance.
