Under the direction of the Editorial Director, the Medical Editor is primarily responsible for ensuring the overall editorial quality of medical communications content by providing medical editing for accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and style. Primary responsibilities include working independently to fact-check content, proo and edit copy, and ensure adherence to client and project requirements, American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style, client corporate and brand style guides, and agency standards. The Medical Editor is also responsible for Veeva Vault submissions and reference library upkeep, as well as permissions requests.
