Capital Asset Project Coordinator

Position Summary:The Capital Asset Management Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating laboratory capital asset management processes across the Regulated Bioanalytics organization. The role serves as a central point of coordination between Integrated Logistics & Sample Management (ILSM), Bioanalytical Sciences, Quality & Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Data/IT teams to ensure laboratory assets, infrastructure, and scientific operations align with current and future business needs. The position drives project execution, portfolio visibility, operational readiness, and continuous improvement while supporting GxP-compliant laboratory environments.Key Responsibilities:Capital Asset ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain the capital asset management framework for regulated bioanalytical laboratories.Coordinate laboratory asset lifecycle activities including:Requirements gatheringAsset evaluation and selectionProcurement supportInstallation and commissioningQualification activitiesPreventive maintenance planningUtilization trackingAsset retirement and replacement planningSupport long-range strategic planning for laboratory infrastructure and equipment investments.Project & Portfolio CoordinationPlan, coordinate, and track cross-functional initiatives and workstreams.Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely follow-up of decisions and commitments.Maintain project documentation, dashboards, status reports, and communication plans.Provide visibility into project progress, resource needs, and key performance indicators.Operational Excellence & AnalyticsMonitor and analyze laboratory operational metrics including:Asset utilizationEquipment uptimeSample turnaround timesRight-first-time performanceData completeness metricsGenerate dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making and resource planning.Harmonize scientific and operational data inputs to support strategic prioritization and forecasting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.Quality, Compliance & Inspection ReadinessSupport development and maintenance of SOPs, process maps, and controlled documentation.Participate in change control activities and process governance reviews.Maintain inspection-ready documentation and audit readiness practices.Assist with CAPA tracking and remediation activities.Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with GxP requirements and quality standards.Stakeholder EngagementServe as a liaison between ILSM, Bioanalytical Sciences, Quality, IT/Data, and Clinical Operations teams.Communicate project priorities, timelines, and risks to stakeholders at all organizational levels.Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.Drive alignment across departments to support portfolio objectives and scientific priorities.
