The Tooling and Mold Engineer is responsible to develop injection molded package design concepts and complete production ready 3D design files and managing project scope and deliverables. The role will involve understanding key design requirements, developing design layouts and concepts and fully engineering complete part designs. As needed, this individual will serve as the project lead facilitating cross-functional discussions on action registers and key project deliverables. Department role inside the organization: Conceptualize, design, develop and assist in implementing new products - owner of product design to meet design requirements, tooling and equipment validation, and release to production Lead design reviews, ensuring feasibility and manufacturability of designs Offer input and assist as required with technical issues Responsibility for creating Product CAD Models, Part Drawings & Fit/Form/Function Layouts. Review/Analyze Part Inspection Reports to determine F/F/F requirements can be met and drawings represent actual product being produced.
