We are looking for a Jack or Jill of All Trades but would consider someone more specialized in one or more of the follow trades: Building Maintenance, Mechanics, or Carpentry.
This is an on site job from 8-5 M-F for a family of printing companies. We would hope to teach you how to run a paper cutter, folder, etc. So, if you would like learning a new trade as well as making use of your solid skill set, this would be a great opportunity.
Dependent upon your skill set, there may be a lot of variety in the work you will be doing. One day you may be raking leaves; the next day you might be fixing brakes or driving a forklift. You will also be making deliveries, shoveling, and cleaning in your spare time.
If you're the type of person that can hear a toilet running and fix it PROPERLY without any supervision, we'd like to talk to you. We want a fix it and forget it type of person. We aren't looking for someone who would rather patch the same fix day after day instead of fix it permanently.
You will be lifting - 50-75 pounds once in a while. You must have a valid driver's license. You will need to be able to pick up working the next day where you left off the day before. You should be prepared to learn new things. Following instructions to the letter is mandatory - be prepared to take notes and make a list. You will need to be flexible in what you are doing as it will change from day to day and hour to hour.
