Gillespie Ford is in search of a Lube Technician to perform routine oil changes and other mechanic tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform all lubrication services (changing oil, transmission fluids, and filters) in a safe manner.
Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e. check additional fluid levels, battery, lights, tire pressure) referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
Operates and maintains lubrication equipment.
Maintain an organized, neat shop area.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Document work performed
Qualifications
Experience as a Lube Technician REQUIRED

Focus on fixing right the first time
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy work environment
Advancement within, based on performance and willingness to learn
Flexibility to perform numerous tasks as requested
