Key responsibilities of the General Manager role include: The General Manager position is the primary person responsible for planning, directing, and managing all restaurant operations. They will ensure that the entire operation runs efficiently and according to Company policy and standards. The General Manager will maintain the Company's high standards of food, service, health and safety and ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant. They will also maintain the optimal utilization of staff and resources. Manages performance of all employees to ensure they are successful in their individual roles and is responsible for scheduling and monitoring all employee shifts. Ensures vendors and suppliers are properly compensated and are meeting the needs of the business. Is professional, accessible and guest-facing. Responsible for general business administration to include payroll, human resources, marketing and financial reporting. Promotes the business, builds sales, increases profits, ensures guest satisfaction, and brand integrity. This position is adaptable, flexible, multi-tasks and directs all restaurant activities. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for our General Manager role will meet the following requirements: *Local candidates preferred * High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Applicants must be 21 years of age at the time the job offer is made.

• At least four years of basic restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment is required; preferably at least two years of experience in fast-casual dining.

• Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications, including use of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General knowledge and experience in full service restaurant operations/ hospitality industry, including food preparation and presentation.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Strong operational skills in a customer-service and hospitality environment.

• Intermediate mathematical computations skills.

• Intermediate financial/reporting skills.

Core Competencies:

• Missed Meal Punches - Managers are expected to monitor employees' Meal Breaks to ensure all hourly employees are provided sufficient coverage in order to allow the employee to take their required Meal Break. Payroll sends out a daily notification to advise managers of any violations of this policy. Time Punches are to be reviewed DAILY to validate any Missed Meal Breaks. Each Monday, the Missed Meal Break Report needs to be faxed to HR Payroll. Additionally, each “payroll” Monday, all valid missed meals Labor Distribution Time Punches need to be faxed to HR Payroll. Any manual time punch adjustments need to obtain authorization from the employee, via their signature. Your goal is to have no violations during each payroll period.

• Safety - Maintains a safe work environment and restaurant adherence to all safety standards. Comply with ServSafe practices in regards to personal cleanliness and food.

• Paperwork - Ensures daily, weekly, monthly logs are maintained and accurate. Open and close the restaurant with responsibility for cash handling, assisting with receiving products, monitoring par and prep levels for the restaurant.
