Description This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be interesting to any detail-oriented individuals hoping to join the ranks of a successful Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment company. You will thrive in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position at a dynamic organization with a growing team, if you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Burbank, California area and is a permanent employment.Major responsibilities
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Provide support to internal business partners
Perform special projects as assigned
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Fullfill full-cycle A/P
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required Requirements - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Strong organization skills
Knowledge of 3 Way Matching
QuickBooks experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
