Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionHow will you make an impact?The Sr. Project Manager (PM) will provide end-to-end project and program management leadership (concept to completion) through the BioProduction Strategic Portfolio and Project Management Team, taking ownership of the mechanisms which ensure successful delivery. The PM will lead cross-functional projects and programs with diverse internal teams ranging from Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Customer Operations & Support to meet business objectives and metrics. In this role, the PM will partner with Executive Sponsors to drive the execution of critical initiatives that span across the Biologicals & Chemicals Division (BCD) and its business units. The successful PM will set-up and supervise the overall schedule, communicate decision needs, control the budget, and report the progress of phases and achievement of project goals.What will you do?
Own end to end success of the project/program, ensuring accountability, execution of timelines, and continuous management of change to deliver timely results
Ensure that all projects/programs are delivered within scope and budget
Develop project/program scopes and objectives, involving all relevant cross-functional team members and ensure resource availability and allocation
Identify key issues and risks, recommend options which are supported by a clear fact set and analysis, facilitate and broker individual and team decisions. Requires an understanding of stakeholder motivations, impacts to the organization, and when to raise issues to higher levels of management
Develop detailed project/program plans to supervise progress and action logs
Lead project/program execution to ensure standard Project Management tools are deployed
Measure project/program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Build and maintain comprehensive project/program documentation and prepare reports for leadership
Experience with challenging the current thought process of staff and status quo of business processes
Influence project/program team members and project/program sponsor
How will you get here?
Bachelors’ Degree in Science/Technical/Business subject area or equivalent experience
5-8 years of project/program management and team leadership experience with proven track record in leading project/programs from start to finish
Experience leading sophisticated projects/programs spanning over 6+ months
Experience handling project/program budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) over $500k
Experience running projects/programs that are scoped to return $2M + of benefit (NPV, Revenue Generation, Savings, etc.) back to the business
Ability to communicate with mixed audiences including senior leadership, influence, and work comfortably in a matrix environment across different functional areas (product management, R&D, finance, commercial, operations, HR, etc.)
Ability to lead 2+ global projects/programs and collaborate positively with team members across different departments and time zones
Solid understanding of formal project management methodologies
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Meaningful experience with Lean / Six Sigma experience in an industrial environment

Ability to partner with peers at similar levels of the organization and report project/program status to Executive Leadership
Strong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies including PMI Body of Knowledge
Effective oral and written communication and executive presentation skills
Process oriented and structured working style and capable of balancing multiple project/programs simultaneously
