Manage general ledger accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, offering recommendations based on financial data.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Support audits, preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and external stakeholders, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Lead special projects related to financial systems implementation, process improvement, or other strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
Experience with general ledger functions, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling preferred).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
