Description Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) sales team. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with experience managing a sales team in the logistics or carrier industry. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in NVOCC or Carrier sales who is passionate about growth and team building. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day sales operations, recruiting, and mentoring a team of sales professionals to drive business growth.Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a sales team, ensuring high performance and collaboration. Provide mentorship and support to team members, setting clear expectations and goals.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the logistics sales team and increase market share in the NVOCC space.

Recruiting & Talent Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard top sales talent. Build a team that can meet and exceed sales targets while fostering a high-energy, results-driven culture.

Client Relationships: Lead efforts to develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the logistics industry.

Sales Execution: Take an active role in sales processes by developing leads, pitching services, and closing deals. Ensure the team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the logistics and shipping industries. Develop strategies to expand into new markets and secure additional revenue streams.

Reporting: Regularly report to the VP of Sales on sales performance, forecasts, and team progress. Analyze sales data and metrics to inform decision-making and adjust strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience managing a sales team in the NVOCC or Carrier industry.

Strong background in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding sales.

Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Experience recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing sales team.

Strong network within the logistics industry.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, with 2-3 days in the office in El Segundo.
