Description We are in the search for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Fontana, California. This role entails handling payroll-related tasks in our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing certified payroll, handling issues related to prevailing wage, and dealing with union-related matters. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Administer certified payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations Handle payroll duties related to unions, ensuring proper deductions and payments Manage prevailing wage issues, ensuring that all employees are paid in line with industry standards Utilize specific payroll systems to process payroll accurately and efficiently Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly Monitor and update the LCP Tracker as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll transactions Collaborate with the HR team and management to implement payroll policies and procedures Regularly review and update payroll procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times.If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please call Yvette Merk at (909) 493-6082 immediately!Requirements Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll administration role Proficiency in Certified Payroll processes Familiarity with Payroll - Union rules and regulations Knowledge of Prevailing Wage practices Strong understanding of payroll procedures and best practices Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with payroll software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations and requirements Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
