DescriptionAre you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk seeking a new role? Then this employment opportunity offered through Accountemps may be for you. As the Accounting Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of International Construction Company. Based out of the Fresno, California area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term temporary-to-full-time opening. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Key responsibilities
Manage full-cycle A/P
Provide support to internal business partners
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional projects as required
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
