Description We are looking for a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our team in the hospitality industry based in Gardena, California. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, maintaining and updating payroll records, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws. This role provides a temporary to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Processing payroll transactions in a timely and accurate manner Maintaining and updating payroll records to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date Verifying accruals and deductions to ensure payroll accuracy Monitoring payroll inbox and promptly replying to employees' inquiries Generating payroll reports for management review Assisting with audits related to payroll processes and procedures Utilizing payroll software for efficient and accurate payroll processing Administering 401k - RRSP and other benefits as part of the payroll process Ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws to prevent legal issues Using ADP Workforce Now and eTime for timekeeping and payroll processing.Skills: Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll Experience with Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees Familiarity with Payroll software and Payroll Taxes Proficiency in ADP - Payroll.Requirements Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll management Experience in 401k and RRSP Administration Familiarity with ADP Payroll system Ability to handle Payroll for 101-500 Employees Knowledge of Payroll software for effective management Understanding of Payroll Taxes and their application Experience in the Hospitality industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Professional certification in Payroll management would be advantageous.
