Administrative Coordinator - Hospice

Hospice of Humboldt is looking for a full-time Administrative Coordinator for our Hospice House.

The Hospice House Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Ida Emmerson Hospice House. This role works closely with the IEHH Clinical Administrator to support clinical and non-clinical staff, volunteers, patients and families.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or the equivalent.

2. Minimum of two years’ administrative experience.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn and work within multiple IT systems, including electronic medical records (EMR), human resources information systems (HRIS), and other organizational platforms.

4. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and compassion.

6. Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards.

7. Ability to organize and maintain systems such as supplies and inventory.

8. Valid driver’s license, proof of acceptable automobile insurance coverage, and reliable transportation.
