Position Summary:
Dream Quest is seeking a dedicated and energetic Program Manager to join our team. This role is
central to advancing Dream Quest’s mission of empowering youth with healthy, educational,
vocational, and creative opportunities that inspire them to imagine and build their dreams while
strengthening our community.
As a working manager, you will design and lead meaningful programs, supervise and mentor youth,
and foster partnerships with families, schools, and community organizations. The Youth Program
Manager reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate programs, activities, workshops, and events consistent with Dream Quest’s mission.
Promotion and outreach efforts, including the creation of flyers, social media posts, tabling and presentations.
Actively engage with youth, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Ensure youth safety and well-being by implementing and enforcing program rules and Dream Quest’s Youth Safety Policy.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents, schools, businesses, community organizations, and volunteers.
Maintain accurate records, including forms, attendance, rosters, and site usage.
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Oversee and perform routine cleanup on a daily basis.
Support the Executive Director with program reports, grant writing, administrative tasks, and team-building efforts.
Identify and nurture leadership potential among youth through training and involvement in decision-making opportunities.
Assist participants with conflict resolution and skill-building in communication and problem-solving.
Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating respect, responsibility, and commitment to community service.
Respond appropriately to crises or emergencies as needed.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Professional experience in youth development, education, recreation, or related field required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of youth.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with graphic design and online media platforms.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Benefits: Sick leave, vacation time, and medical insurance available after a 90-day introductory period
