Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile/audit weekly expense transactions and reconcile CC bank statements
Project setup in the accounting system: including, job name, job location, and project manager
Close out project accounts upon project completion
Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost audits (data entry done by accounting clerks)
Maintain all project Unconditional & Conditional lien releases
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time (weekly) QuickBooks Online Payroll
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Advance Online
Work closely with senior management and project management teams on special projects/ perform other related duties as assigned.
Report Creation
Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Manage accounting clerk employees
Receive deliveries (forklift)
Qualifications & Skills:
3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Advance Online and Payroll REQUIRED
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to drive a forklift or willing to get certified to drive a forklift
