Position Overview:
We seek a diligent communicator and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle categorizing expenses, managing bank feeds, processing invoicing for wholesale transactions, and aging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expense Management: Categorize and record expenses accurately in the accounting system.
- Bank Feeds Management: Manage and reconcile bank feeds and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Invoicing: Create and send invoices for wholesale transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- General Ledger: Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and performing reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Month-End Close: Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Square).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
