Accounting Manager

Description A company is looking for a results-oriented Accounting Manager to join their growing team immediately. The Accounting Manager will regulate daily operations such as, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. This is a tremendous opportunity to work for a company that will appreciate your efforts and reward your results as you establish and scale their accounting and finance operations.What you get to do every single dayDrive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlinesPrepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and proceduresRegular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accountsAssist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processesCollaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook Requirements - Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

Proven technical skills

Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience preferred

Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

Bank Account Reconciliation experience

Command of journal entries

Proficiency in account reconciliation

Solid understanding of month end closings

Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

7+ years of recent relevant financial experience
