Lead more complex and novel cases (ESAPCU, clinical trial and commercial) with investigating physicians, hospital staff and clinical research coordinators by providing on-site, real-time guidance during procedures, including contingency planning to address unforeseen occurrences in support of TMTT devices
Lead all activities related to pre-procedural planning, procedural steps, and post-procedural debriefs, and documentation of procedural case observations for insights in investigating post procedural events. Provide guidance on enrollment discussions and assistance with issue escalation with Principal Investigator and research team
Provide expert-level guidance and training of clinical specialists and engineers of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants
Provide leadership oversight of team education and training for physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs
Provide expert oversight of the development of complex procedures, testing, and therapies leveraging advisory-level clinical imaging expertise to ensure clinical imaging inputs are fed into next generational design. Provide technical SME-level support of and coordination of all clinical imaging training and instruction for cross-functional teams as products move from EASPCU to early human use to the commercial setting. Oversee all complex design control and trial-related documentation and support all complaint and investigational analyses supporting the therapy. Provide strategic communication of headwinds in therapy trajectory to the leadership team. Guide and mentor team on new and emerging technologies and projects
What you will need (Required):
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 12 years related experience in-hospital and/or industry clinical echocardiographic
Certification in RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) within ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification
Expert knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
Ability to travel up to 50%
