In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.Key responsibilities
Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations
Accountable for completing various tasks and the daily operations of the HR department
Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Differentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations Requirements - Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms
Prior HR Generalist experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Proven understanding local, state and federal laws
The responsibilities of this position will require you to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Prior full cycle recruiting experience
