Overview:We are looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems are running smoothly, and providing technical support to all departments. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, network administration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:

Network Management: Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.

System Administration: Install, configure, and manage servers, workstations, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to resolve hardware and software issues for employees, both in person and remotely.

Security: Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption to protect company data.

Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

IT Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, including software upgrades, system migrations, and new technology rollouts.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and procedures to ensure continuity and compliance with industry standards.

Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Compliance: Ensure that all IT systems comply with industry regulations and best practices.

Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and optimize as needed to ensure reliable and efficient operation.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT engineering, network administration, or a similar role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and practices.

Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA are preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other: Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours for maintenance or emergency purposes.
