Description Robert Half is looking for a Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format to support the work of a company in the Managed Services field. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity based in Wilmington, Delaware. Your responsibilities in this role:
Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Requirements
Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
Desktop support or related experience
Knowledge of Desktop deployment
Image Deployment experience
