Description Robert Half is seeking candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format, for a Desktop Support Technician position with a company in the Managed Services field. Problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment may succeed this Desktop Support Technician role. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity, is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Responsibilities:
Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Requirements
Desktop support or related experience
Knowledge of Desktop deployment
Comprehensive knowledge of Image Deployment
Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
