Our client in Canoga park, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will support various accounting functions and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members on month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations.
Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including maintaining vendor and customer databases, reviewing invoices, processing vendor payments, and monitoring customer account balances.
Process monthly expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to prepare month-end activities.
Manage data migration between multiple systems.
Perform other accounting duties and provide support to staff as required or assigned.
Job Requirements/Certifications Needed:
AA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred but not required.
1-2 years of experience in accounting.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of QuickBooks Software is a plus.

Monday to Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation:
$24.00 to $26.00
