An established Property Management Company is looking to hire a friendly, motivated and detailed orientated full time Bookkeeper with 3 years of experience. This role will include working closely with Management on a day to day basis in the management of real estate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable along with other assigned general ledger duties

Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements, ensuring timely delivery to internal stakeholders. Conduct monthly reviews with program managers to provide insights into budget performance and financial trends.

Oversee general ledger transactions, including monthly reconciliations, allocations, and journal entries. Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions to maintain integrity and compliance.

Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and check printing. Support accounts receivable tasks, including reconciliation.

Contribute to audit preparation, ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and accurate for both internal and external audit processes.

Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with the team to implement best practices for financial management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Support the Broker with ad-hoc financial projects, as needed, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Customer (tenant) billing, cash receipts and applications, collection and reconciliation of accounts.

Overseer Coding and processing of vendor invoices into ledger accounts.

Routing and securing approval of invoices and preparing check runs.

Prepare and issue accounting documents, data documents and respond to tenant relations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) years of related experience with a focus in real estate accounting is preferred.

Accounting Certification or CPA preferred

Extreme attention to detail and mathematical ability required.

Bi-lingual in Spanish a must.

Familiarity with accounting software and concepts.

Strong organizational time management skills. The ability to work well under pressure and manage and meet conflicting deadlines.

The ability to embrace change and seek continuous improvement from themselves and the business.

The ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal effectively and positively with, and influence, people at all levels.

Excellent customer service and the ability to deliver a customer service culture within the team.

Typing on a keyboard, data entry, filing
