Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, a leading entertainment business and financial management firm, is seekingÂa royalty analyst for our Century City office.
This position entails assisting the firms royalty audit managers in conducting compliance examinations on behalf of our entertainment clients and other rights holders. Engagements include: examinations of record companies, music publishers, merchandising companies and other licensees of intellectual property. Work is extremely detailed and analytical, including organization and manipulation of electronic data, maintenance and organization of files, drafting report schedules and text and summarization of contracts. Some travel required.
AÂsuccessful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Accounting, Finance, Business or Mathematics major preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.Â
The candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as being able to work well in a team environment.
Candidate must be willing to travel on occasion.
Competitive candidates will have 2+ years of experienceÂin music royalties
