Design and construction company, Jeff Zhang Associates Inc, is seeking for a responsible Architectural designer for the architectural design of residential new and remodel project , ADU construction projects, coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully completing the project on schedule and within budget.
Ensure that the appropriate building and site controls are adhered to throughout the project. Perform site quality control as required to ensure projects are delivered as desired. Reads and interprets established scope of work, plans, specifications and meeting minutes. Has complete understanding of all project requirements.
Monitor project status and maintains appropriate on-site control from office. Ensure that the project is completed on schedule and in accordance with the contract and owner's expectations. Make sure that the work being done is in line with local building codes.
A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required. Candidate with an Architectural license or ability to obtain Architectural license in the near future is preferred. 2 to 7 years’ experience in Architectural design preferred. Ability to finish Architectural drawings for submittal to city is a must. Architectural designer can grow into construction manager role. This position has partial ownership potential. Willingness to learn to organize and manage a project from start to finish is a must. Hourly/Project based position to permanent position.
