Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Los Angeles, California. This position involves handling applied payments in a consumer products industry, with the role being fully remote. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our accounts receivable functions, and contribute to our team's efficiency.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain precise records of customer credit accounts Ensure prompt resolution of customer credit inquiries Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Handle applied payments effectively, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites to manage and organize data Apply skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, and Cash Activity to ensure smooth financial operations Use NetSuite for financial management and planning Leverage experience in Big Box Retail to understand and navigate the industry Manage Cash Applications efficiently and accurately Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Detailed knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with billing functions and cash activity handling Experience in check processing Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks Experience in Big Box Retail environment is desirable Familiarity with cash applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy in all work Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
