DescriptionUnder the general supervision by the faculty of the Neurology Clinic, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for administrative assistance to faculty by supporting and coordinating patient care in the Neurology clinics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clinic scheduling, handling patient-related activities, coordination of patient care, and maintenance of regulatory paperwork.Salary Range: $29.42 - $42.14 HourlyQualificationsRequired:
Demonstrated experience in organizing and defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently, and following through with minimal direction in order to perform effectively under conditions of frequent interruptions, fluctuating workloads, and conflicting time demands
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material with discretion
Demonstrated ability to screen incoming phone calls in order to assess urgency of requests
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to initiate, monitor, and complete tasks, including those not explicitly assigned or intrinsic to achieve specific goals
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Windows computer platforms and proficiency in the use of computer programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, e-mail programs, web browsers, and Adobe Acrobat
Demonstrated ability to operate Care Connect, download reports, documents and labs from patient's chart
Demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated strong organizational skills to maintain the workflow of a fast-paced, high-volume clinic in a professional and efficient manner
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with departmental staff of all levels by performing duties in a pleasant, cooperative, and helpful manner
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and updated files containing a variety of documents relating to the patient's care
Excellent verbal and written English language skills to complete correspondence and reports with appropriate spelling, grammar, and format
Demonstrated typing skills of 45 WPM
Experience in patient care
Preferred:
Fluent knowledge of neurological, pharmaceutical and legal terminology
