Job Title: Commercial GlazierJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Commercial Glazier to join our team. As a Commercial Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass for tenant improvements in commercial buildings and other glass structures.Responsibilities
Install glass for tenant improvements in commercial buildings.
Handle and install glass structures such as storefronts, herculite doors, and frameless commercial interior sliders.
Install hat channels, bottom U-channels, headers, and closers.
Apply silicone with precision using tape.
Install, adjust, and work on frameless glass commercial doors without supervision.
Install panic device exit systems.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Measure openings for glass installations.
Load and tie glass trucks safely.
Perform heavy lifting as required.
Essential Skills
6-8 years of experience in commercial glazing, including tenant improvements.
Proficiency in glazing, installation, and use of power and hand tools.
Ability to install hat channels, bottom U-channels, headers, and closers.
Experience with Herculite doors and frameless commercial interior sliders.
Ability to apply silicone with precision.
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Certifications such as OSHA safety training are beneficial.
Self-starter with an attitude of accountability and punctuality.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with mirrors, shower doors, glass railings.
