We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Office Manager to join our team at the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA)! In this role you will provide a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with drawings management, document management and construction management support. You will support the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and project engineers. Telework is available Monday and Friday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you will be on-site at LAX.What You'll Be Doing:

Assist the CM and project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of drawings. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status report, as required.

Support the PM II/CM and construction teams during shutdowns, cut-overs, and other miscellaneous field and logistics management work.

Understand the ASR and USR process, monitor.

Update and maintain sets of drawings, specifications and logs. Read and post the high volume of RFIs and Design Notices into the drawings.

Maintain project files and document / drawing management systems (hard and electronic copies). Communicate with the designer and contractor to make the posted drawings more efficient and timely.

Distribute documents and drawings; maintain document and drawing logs.

Assist in the Request for Information (RFI) process by helping the Project Engineer with RFI tracking and follow-up. Maintain RFI logs in the project information system.

Assist other Office Engineers with the submittal, design bulletin, and plan revision process. Receive record, review, transmit and track the resolution of the task. Maintain appropriate logs in Prolog, the project information system.

Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as: attend and document project meetings (write minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting logs; etc.

Support the PERT review process by uploading and distributing project design packages and manages the review process and comment logs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

5 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects.

BS/BA in (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc.) or another related technical field required.

Demonstrated ability to understand technical and complicated construction program and the ability to communicate progress to both technical- and management-level personnel.

Ability to work with others, a self-starter with results-driven focus.

Capability to assume additional responsibilities.

Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment.

Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous position.

Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience

Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional required.

Prolog experience is highly desirable, or similar project management software tools, such as Expedition.

Primavera 6.0 experience highly desirable.

BlueBeam, Sketch-up skills desirable.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Broad experience in design and construction management/administration of major commercial construction projects and Airport Construction Projects.

Experience should include interfacing with Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Sub- Contractors.

Experience with Design/Build (DB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and other alternative project delivery methods, preferred.

State of California Professional Engineer's license is desirable.

Professional registration or certification is preferred.

PMP or CMAA preferred.
