Job Summary – (high level overview of the critical fewtasks of the position):Responsible for co-coordinatingchanges/releases/incidents across the environments, ensuring correct proceduresare followed and changes are accurately recorded scheduled and controlled. Assist the team track and assign change requestsand incident tickets. Assess the priorityand impact of all changes for accuracy.Co-ordinate change approvals liaising between approvers andinitiators. Create and distribute ChangeManagement reports and analysis. Makesformal presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formalreports and oral presentations to cross functional teams. Prepare changes forChange Advisory Board (CAB). Facilitates CAB/CCB meetings. Trains more juniormembers of the staffJob Responsibilities (the scope of responsibility, department and position levels including knowledge and practice of the clinical/technical skills necessary to the position):

Documents change activities

Ensures that the change/release process was followed, referring to documented change environment processes, to minimize defects and system downtime

Ensures that the systems development standards were followed

Reviews testing plans and results to help ensure that the change is ready to be released into production.

Reviews the process followed for QA, related to the proposed system change, so that interfaces the systems interdependencies have been reviewed and evaluated.

Makes formal recommendations as to whether changes/releases are ready for production; if not, citing why not

Helps to prepare CAB/CCD meeting agenda, including gathering required documentation needed to share at these meetings

Coordinates necessary change approvals

Create various reports and analysis as directed.

Participates in on-call rotation as required.

Trains more junior members of the staff

Work Environment: (work environments, hazards and exposures the employee may encounter on the job) :

Office environment in a healthcare setting.

On-Call: (Is this job required to be on-call? If yes, what is the typical frequency and duration?) :

May be required to participate in after hours on-call responsibilities

Educational requirements and/or preferences (Licensure, Registration, Certification, Experience, Other):

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Five (5) years experience with systems analysis and change/release or QA related activities

Multi-platform experience or education preferred.

Experience working within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library-based Change Management environment or Information Technology support service is required.

Experience with Service Management tools preferred.

Requires advanced computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, training in business functions and in systems analysis and design.

Strong understanding of modern system and software development processes, tools, and implementation technologies.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation (ITIL) Foundation Certification a plus
