Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing state and federal tax returns for our clients.Responsibilities:
Prepare individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with current tax laws.
Review financial records, expenses, and income to ensure accuracy.
Analyze and minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations.
Prepare tax schedule and financial reports.
Advise clients on tax filing status, savings opportunities, and potential tax-related issues.
Collaborate with the audit team to ensure accurate and exhaustive financial reporting.
Stay updated with industry trends and current tax practices
Bookkeeping duties including AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Tax Preparer, ideally within a finance or accounting department.
Proficient with tax preparation software and detailed knowledge of tax laws and federal and state regulations.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, along with the ability to manage deadlines.
