Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and proficiency in managing point-of-sale systems, specifically Shift4 POS. This role involves ensuring a seamless dining experience, driving team performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to fine dining standards.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and overall guest experience.
Manage and troubleshoot the Shift4 POS system to ensure smooth transactions and reporting.
2.Guest Experience:
Ensure a warm and professional guest experience from arrival to departure.
Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints with tact and efficiency.
Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate service and menu execution.
3.Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold fine dining service standards.
Schedule and manage shifts to ensure proper staffing levels.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and address challenges.
4.Financial Management:
Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and expenses, ensuring alignment with budget goals.
Generate and analyze reports using Shift4 POS for inventory, sales, and performance metrics.
Assist in creating and implementing strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
5.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, and inspections.
Enforce company policies and standards across all operations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a management role within a fine dining restaurant.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Shift4 POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer Focus: Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and guest expectations.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges and resolve issues efficiently.
Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with menu planning, wine pairings, and high-volume fine dining events.
Familiarity with industry trends and guest engagement strategies.
