Yakitori Chef for Successful Sushi Restaurant

We are currently seeking a skilled Yakitori Chef to join our team at a high-end sushi restaurant located in the Valley.

Our restaurant is a large-scale operation, approximately 5,000 square feet, with a strong focus on quality ingredients, technique, and consistency.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $20 – $22 plus tips

Final rate based on experience and skill level

Preferred Experience

Experience grilling yakitori or similar charcoal-grilled items

Experience with binchotan or Japanese-style grilling is a plus

Background in high-end or upscale dining restaurants preferred

Strong attention to detail and consistency

Ability to work clean, organized, and under pressure

Responsibilities

Prepare and grill yakitori items during service

Maintain proper cooking temperatures and timing

Ensure quality, presentation, and consistency of all grilled items

Assist with prep and station organization

Follow food safety and health department standards

Work closely with kitchen and sushi teams for smooth service
