We are currently seeking an experienced Head Sushi Chef to lead the sushi program at our high-end sushi restaurant located in the Valley.
We currently operate two restaurant locations and are actively planning our third and fourth locations. This role is intended for a chef who can grow with the company and eventually take a leadership position overseeing sushi operations across all locations.
Our restaurant is a large-scale operation, approximately 5,000 square feet, focused on quality, consistency, and craftsmanship in sushi.
Compensation
Annual salary: $85,000 – $95,000 plus tips
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications

Preferred Experience
Prior experience as a Head Sushi Chef, Sushi Chef Lead, or Senior Sushi Chef
Strong foundation in traditional and modern sushi techniques
Experience in high-end or upscale sushi restaurants is strongly preferred
Experience training and leading sushi chefs is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
Lead daily sushi bar operations and service execution
Maintain the highest standards of sushi quality, technique, and presentation
Train, mentor, and develop sushi chefs
Help establish systems and standards scalable across multiple locations
Work closely with ownership and kitchen management to support expansion
Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and health department compliance
