Direct Support Professionals Immediate Openings (ARLETA AND MISSION HILLS, CA)
Part Time and Full Time Positions available in Adult Residential Facilites for people with disabilities in the cities of ARLETA and MISSION HILLS, CA.
We are recruiting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct support to adults (18 – 59 years old) with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down's Syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc. Our DSPs/Caregivers assist the individuals with activities of daily living, de-escalate behaviors, go on outings in the community, and cover the household duties (ADLs) in the group homes. We are hiring now for our DSP positions and we have a lot to offer our staff!
Pay rate for these homes: $16 per hour or Salaried
Position Requirements:
Proof of completing High school diploma or G.E.D. (or higher education)
At least 6 months’ experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; also working with individuals with behavioral issues PREFERRED but we can train those that do not have the experience
DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications preferred - but we can help candidates who have sufficient experience to complete these certifications
18 years or older
Pass background check/fingerprinting, physical and TB test
PLEASE NOTE: Full Time/Part Time and schedule is flexible but applicants will also be required to work on weekends.
