Job Opening: Marketing and General Manager at Restaurant/Bar in heart of downtown Glendale, CA
Are you a dynamic and creative leader with a proven background in restaurant/bar management and marketing? We’re looking for a Marketing and General Manager to join our team at a vibrant Glendale restaurant and bar. This role is perfect for a creative, organized, and strategic thinker who can elevate our brand, oversee daily operations, and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Advertising: Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns, advertising strategies, and social media initiatives to boost visibility and customer engagement. Coordinate with the social media team to strategize content and uphold our online image.
Event Planning & Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee events, manage vendor bookings, confirm vendor tasks, and ensure seamless event execution.
Team Leadership & Training: Train, manage, and support employees, handle scheduling, address work-related issues, and maintain a positive team environment.
Customer Retention & Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive SMS/email advertising, customer follow-ups, review monitoring on Yelp/Google, and maintaining a high rating by addressing reviews professionally.
Administrative Duties & Platform Management: Maintain and update online platforms, manage reservations, confirm bookings, and ensure smooth technical operation of online systems. Light errands and reliable transportation required.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in restaurant/bar management with a strong focus on marketing, social media strategies, and advertising.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and computer-savviness. Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Availability: Must be able to work 9am - 5pm Tuesday - Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required for events.
Additional Requirements: Trustworthy, responsible, and punctual, with reliable transportation and the ability to start immediately.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: Up to $4,000 per month, DOE, with potential for growth, bonuses, and commission.
