As an Assistant Shipping Manager Trainee, you will:
1. Learn Shipping Operations: Receive hands-on training in overseeing daily shipping operations, including pulling, packing and shipping
2. Assist with Logistics Coordination: Work closely with carriers to schedule shipments, track orders, and resolve delivery issues.
3. Inventory and Documentation: Support inventory management and ensure accurate documentation for all shipments.
4. Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with production, and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines.
5. Monitor Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and shipping regulations.
6. Develop Leadership Skills: Shadow the Warehouse Manager and prepare to take on supervisory responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with:
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
3. Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Tech Savvy: Familiarity with shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
