California Resources Services is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to empower persons with disabilities to achieve their personalized goals through community education and individualized services that provide the knowledge, skills and confidence building to maximize their quality of life. CRS offers services as an Independent Living Center, as well as additional service lines in Employment, Post-Secondary Education, Aging, Workforce, and Independent Living throughout Northern and Southern California.
The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) position works closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, to maintain the quality, minimize risk and ensure the policies and procedures of the agency and community partners in accordance with Title 17 and other funding mandates. It is the expectation for the QAS to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry's best practices and emerging trends associated with Independent Living Services, Department of Rehabilitation, ACL, Regional Center, and ADRC.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be required to:
1. Represent CRS at a variety of case conferences and interagency meetings.
2. Lead Quality Assurance visits annually, prepare reports of findings and write plans of correction, as necessary in a
timely manner. Complete unannounced visits and appropriate documentation as assigned.
3. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and audits to ensure service quality.
4. Perform manual and automated testing on new and existing features to identify and document defects.
5. Identify, document, and track program deficits, or changes using various management tools.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality
services.
7. Prepare reports of findings and write plans of correction, as necessary in a timely manner. Complete unannounced
visits and appropriate documentation as assigned.
8. Analyse test results and provide detailed reports on testing outcomes, highlighting any potential risks or areas for
improvement.
9. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall efficiency and
effectiveness of the QA function.
10. Develop and implement trainings and services plans for safety, and agency policies and procedures which embraces
the organizations culture toward providing effective supports to the individuals served.
11. Organize travel efficiently and effectively.
12. Maintain a safe driving record. 75 % of this position requires driving.
13. Perform different or additional work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IO Psychology, Psychology, Social Services, Business Administration.
2-4 years of experience in providing QA Services, or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel Spreadsheets, Adobe, and Microsoft Application.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
