Dental Treatment Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage patient treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatment options and financial arrangements.
Work with patients to educate them on third-party financing options.
Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Assist in scheduling and making recall appointments.
Follow up on all outstanding treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of timely treatment to prevent more complex procedures.
Help patients understand their insurance benefits.
Submit and follow up on pre-authorizations.
Contact patients upon pre-authorization approval.
Follow up on unpaid claims, co-payments, etc.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator.
Knowledgeable and experienced in working with all types of insurance (HMO, PPO, and Denti-Cal ).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent communication skills.
Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Excellent customer service skills with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
Willingness to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
