I’m a busy executive who is rarely in Santa Monica, looking for a responsible, detail-oriented person (or “Mom equivalent”) to help keep my life organized. This is a part-time, highly flexible role (5-15+ hours per week), with the potential for occasional access to a room and car while I’m away.
You’ll be working in a beautiful beachside 2BR condo with ocean views, and every day will bring something new.
Typical Tasks Include:
Tidying & light cleaning (deep cleaning optional; we have a maid)
Organizing closets & drawers with precision
Collecting mail & handling Amazon returns
Stocking the fridge (Farmers Market runs, grocery shopping)
Loading/unloading the dishwasher
Making calls & scheduling errands (e.g., car wash, deliveries)
Coordinating with my office admin on various tasks
Preparing for guests & potentially house-sitting when I travel
20+ other miscellaneous tasks that arise in my whirlwind life
If you have cooking skills or other special talents, definitely mention them! I work from home when I’m in town but travel frequently (about half the year).
Requirements:
Live in or near Santa Monica (commuting from far away won’t work)
Prior domestic experience & strong problem-solving skills
Fluent English & great communication skills
Positive attitude & reliability (must be punctual & dependable)
Valid driver’s license (ages 21-50 preferred)
Comfortable handling occasional high-pressure situations
Basic handy skills (or the ability to coordinate repairs)
Trustworthy & operates with integrity
Preferred:
Available 2-3+ days per week (a few hours at a time)
Occasional weekend availability (mornings preferred over evenings)
A good eye for design & aesthetics (helpful for keeping things tidy & stylish)
