Marco is one of the leading and largest low bed equipment haulers in Southern California. Our fleet is constantly due for service/maintenance, and repairs. We are looking for a qualified, hardworking, and knowledgeable mechanic to join our staff. Our equipment consists of Heavy Haul Peterbilt tractors along with several configurations of Murray and Rackley built trailers, Landoll’ s, and other standard flat deck trailers.
Duties consist of 90 day and annual inspections, diagnosis and repair of issues, the ability to take direction and execute a task consistently while meeting the standards as set by the Federal Motor Carrier and DOT regulations. The safety of our staff starts with the execution of repairs and service by our maintenance team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions or damage.
Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, when applicable
Inspect belts, hoses, steering systems, brakes, fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas for additional repairs needed (guidance will be provided)
Test electronic computer components to ensure that they are working properly.
Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment and grow in the mechanic field.
Education/Training or Experience:
Some computer skills - recommended.
5+ years’ experience in heavy-duty truck and/or trailer repairs preferred.
The pay range is $25-$60 per hour is based on experience and competency. Monday through Friday work schedule with Overtime hours available.
You must have your own hand tools. Company to provide certain specific tools related to our equipment.

· Pass pre-employment physical/drug screening check
