Job description

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary restrictions

- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen

- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus and create new dishes

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Lead Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal planning

- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils

- Understanding of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special requests

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary arts

- Certification in food safety or culinary training
